There may come a time where you will need to CREATE a new LOD3wallet because you have either lost complete access to your original wallet or you have been hacked and need a new wallet address.
This process will allow you to use your existing email and password, as well as maintain your current LOD3 ID and Profile.
It will allow you to change your 12 word recovery phrase, as well as your Avalanche address. Be sure to have a pen and paper handy and to use this form for tracking your Login Details.
This form can also act as a Beneficiary Form, because anyone who possesses this form has full access to your LOD3wallet.
The first step is to Log into your current wallet and go to Settings > then the Security tab > Reset Vault Wallet
Click on “OK I UNDERSTAND”
Input your 6 Digit Pin - You can choose to use the same PIN or not.
Click on the “Tap To Activate” sentence within the Vault button
Click on “Got It”
Click on “Create a New Vault Wallet”
Carefully write down your 12-word-recovery-phrase in the order of 1 thru 12 exactly as they are written. Click on the box “I have Safely Stored my Recovery Phrase Offline”, click on “Continue”
Go through the following 4 pages filling in the Missing Words
Enter your 6 digit pin
Click on Continue to your Home Page
Once on the main wallet page showing Zero Assets, you will immediately click on the Browser Refresh Page Icon https://www.flaticon.com/free-icons/refresh-page
to lock in your LOD3wallet.
You can then enter your PIN to re-enter the LOD3wallet.
The next step is to initiate an email to have your Assets transferred to your new LOD3wallet.
Once your LOD3wallet is Setup you will now Create an Email to Send to LOD3 Admin
(The addresses you are about to see are EXAMPLE addresses only. You will find your own Receive addresses by clicking on Receive under Home top left, click on the Asset of interest, click on Copy Address button and right click and paste into the body of the email)
