How to Update to Your New Email Address Within Your Existing LOD3wallet How to Reset Your 2FA to Gain Access to Your Blocked LOD3 Account Assets

Updated over a week ago

In the event that you have lost access to your old LOD3 Account email, and are blocked from updating to your new email, this tutorial will walk you through the steps on how to update to your new email address while still retaining your LOD3wallet Assets and Receive address.

This tutorial can also be applied to those who have lost access to their LOD3wallet because they have a 2FA code requirement blocking access to their account.

In both cases you will need to create a new email address, because you are creating a new account, while still restoring access to your original wallet's assets. Please be sure to properly document the password used to access your new email address.

Please note that your existing LODE ID # is tied to your previous (now unavailable) email address. For security reasons LOD3 Support can no longer change your email address, nor disable your existing 2FA blocker. This now falls upon you to do the following:

  1. CREATE A NEW LOD3 ACCOUNT (This will give you a new LOD3 ID tied to your NEW email address)

  2. RESTORE YOUR WALLET WITH THE 12-Word RECOVERY PHRASE tied to your assets. (Your LOD3wallet Assets and Receive Address will remain the same)

STEP 1: CREATE A NEW LOD3 ACCOUNT

First please clear the cache and cookies in your browser and then open a new tab. In the URL type in lodewallet.com

Click on CREATE A NEW WALLET

Fill in your details along with your NEW EMAIL address. You can still use your previous PASSWORD and PIN

Once on the main landing page, click on Vault Assets and confirm your assets are all accounted for. Now click on Receive (under Home, top left) and click on AVAX and confirm that your LOD3wallet is showing your correct Receive Address.

For those who had 2FA issues, go to Settings, then Security. You will see that your 2FA is now disabled and will need to be re-enabled when you are ready to do so.

Finally click on Profile and confirm that all your personal information, including the correct email address are showing and accurate. Please make a note of your NEW LODE ID#.

Congratulations. You have successfully updated your email address and bypassed your 2FA blocker while restoring your previous LOD3 account.
