The OTC3 feature is a private, non-market alternative to the Swap feature, which is used for swapping LOD3 Assets at Live Market pricing. These are Peer 2 Peer transactions between a Seller and a Buyer.

Begin by logging into your LOD3wallet and click on the OTC3 category on the left side. Enter your PIN.

You will now land on the main OTC3 page. Here you have three categories, My Preferred Swaps, P2P Swaps and TOU (Terms of Use).

The first category is My Preferred Swaps. This is the category where you place Assets for sale outside of the Live Market. An example of this would be to sell up to 5,000 LT Avalanche for any of the other Avalanche Tokens, such as AGX, AUX, USDC or AVAX. When you click on PLACE SWAP, it will show up on the P2P Marketplace. You can delete your created Preferred Swap by clicking on DISMISS.

For a higher closing rate, a strategy would be to consider bite size swaps based on the current Live Market values. For example, 500 LTs for 500 AUX, or 5500 LTs for 500 AGX or 5500 LTs for 500 USDC, keeping the dollar value within a reasonable swapping range. If your Swap offer closes quickly you will know that you are on the right track, for the type of market that you are in at that time.

The next category is P2P (Peer2Peer) Swaps. This is where Preferred Swaps show up so that Buyers and Sellers can come to see what is available on the private market. You enter the Token that you wish to part with for a Token that you desire to receive and if a potential Swap exists it will show up.

Remember to carefully focus on the exchange valuations to confirm a fair trade that all parties will be happy with. You can always post a Preferred Swap to counter any swap that you consider unreasonable. Click on Execute to accept and agree to the Swap of your choice.
