A Tutorial Showing how to Transfer or Send Between Wallets

Updated over a month ago

Within the LOD3wallet Click on Send, under Home top left

An asset menu will appear. Choose the main Asset Banner in question and if sub-banners present themselves choose the asset sub-banner that applies to the asset that you want to Send.

In this example we are sending AGX Avalanche from one wallet to another. You can only send assets that reside on compatible networks. Avalanche to Avalanche for instance and you need to confirm that you also have the compatible GAS for the transaction fees, which in this case is AVAX. The AVAX token is the Avalanche Gas Token.

After clicking on the Asset, in this case AGX, it will now open a Send window. Always do a test amount if you have never sent anything to this address. In this case .01 AGX

The party you are sending to will have sent you their Asset Receive Address. Input that Receive Address.

If you are the one Receiving, click on Receive under Home top left. In this example, click on the AGX Banner, then the AGX Avalanche sub-banner and you will see a QR code or a Copy Address button. This is your Receive address that you will forward to the Sender.

Regular speed is fine. The faster the speed the more GAS. Click on Continue.

This will open a Confirm window showing the details around the Transaction. Click on Confirm to complete the transaction.

This will bring you to your 6 Digit PIN page to sign off on your Transaction.

If you had enough GAS to cover the transaction fee you will now see a pop up saying SUCCESS

Remember to always do a Test Amount FIRST to confirm that you are on the correct network. If you send it to the wrong network you stand to lose it all and there may be no recourse.

If you need to confirm the Transaction, click on the asset, AGX Banner, then AGX Avalanche sub-banner and you will see the transaction in the history. Simply click on the transaction and it will open up a Transaction Details page showing a Transaction ID (TXID). This TXID provides all the data to track down the transaction.
